Preface
As the global economy faces headwinds—with the U.S. grappling with AI investment bubbles and fading consumer confidence, and the EU navigating fragile growth amid trade barriers and fiscal pressures—China’s focused progress in key sectors offers a noteworthy contrast.
This issue spotlights China’s recent strides: breakthroughs in embodied intelligence, brain-computer interfaces, and AI regulation; policy-driven upgrades in digital education, healthcare, and elderly care; landmark infrastructure projects connecting regions; and accelerated green transition through methane reduction and zero-carbon initiatives. It also covers expanding global cooperation, from China-EU green tech partnerships to ASEAN-focused AI collaboration.
These developments raise thought-provoking questions: How can policy synergy effectively accelerate technological scaling? What roles can cross-border cooperation play in mitigating global trade frictions? As the world seeks stable growth paths, China’s latest moves provide timely food for thought. We invite readers to explore and reflect on these dynamics.
